Coach Vitt said one of his primary roles was to monitor the activity of Coach Williams. This was based on the direction of Coach Payton, who apparently had less than full confidence in Coach Williams. Despite Coach Vitt’s knowledge of the bounty program, his understanding of the terms “knock-out” and “cart-off,” his witnessing Coach Williams handing out envelopes that he believed to contain cash, and his acknowledgement that the defensive meeting preceding the 2010 NFC Championship Game may have “got out of hand” with respect to Brett Favre, Coach Vitt claimed he never advised either Coach Payton or General Manager Mickey Loomis of the “pay-for-performance/bounty” program.

Now I thought the idiot running the nfl had proof that Sean Payton knew how could Payton know if the guy that was supposed to tell him wasn't telling him what he was supposed to have esp bestowed upon him.

The "facts" are very sketchy; no one besides Payton, Vitt, Loomis, and Williams can know what really happened...

Like I read somewhere, the full extend of evidence will never really be known. It will be locked in a drawer somewhere. This is just like the SpyGate scandal..the video tapes "mysteriously dissapeared". So this will do the same thing and we will be left with nothing but to take there word for what really happened.

So said there were leaked emails that showed Payton trying to cover the scandal up,but maybe that was after the scandal was out and he was just trying to prepare everyone. Who knows. We need to just move on. I think this team really has something to play for now, we as fans need to rally around the team and support whoever is chosen to replace Payton.

why don't the nfl investigate GW on tossing the game to the whinners. now thats something to look into.
