LOL what NFL? No bounty evidence found for other teams.

NFL says no other evidence of bounties found on any other teams.

Including the Ravens and Giants who admittedly targeted players.

NFL has looked into other bounty allegations, found no evidence | ProFootballTalk

No other evidence besides everyone and their effing grandma saying "yeah, we ran bounties". This isn't the type of evidence the NFL wants. They want speculative evidence they need from one disgruntled player who spilled the beans over a classy 30 pack of Coors Light cans (Shockey) and don't forget a convicted felon's (Ornstein) spam mail.

I thought this comment was funny so i'll re-use it here. Again not my thoughts. I don't want to be accused, then penalized for re - using somebody's old thought like the Saints were !!!!

Well since these investigations are becoming common, could we please take a look at the Pittsburgh steelers? Especially the 2010-2011 team? For those who don’t remember, the team with a,reverse bounty system, james Harrison paying Roger goodell for hurting people.

Bounties didn't screw us, it was the lying about it.

I still say the Saints are targeted for this BOUNTY-GATE BS. After the NFC Championship against Minnesota, the NFL changed the overtime rule. Now, tell me why would they want to accuse the Saints for a bounty system that they wasted three years and 25,000 sheets of paper for? Oh, by the way, New Orleans is hosting "Super Bowl X-Tra Large-7". Cardinals game, Vikings game, no flags from the Zebra Squad and no penalties from the league prior to SB XLIV, to me, is S.U.S.P.E.C.T.!!! My question to the NFL and Da Commish is, WHERE'S THE EVIDENCE, STUPID!!!!

The problem is NO ONE else kept a record of it. They can't prove anything by hearsay. Our stupid ass's kept a record which is what got us caught.

All I want now is for the Saints to make one good, strong season.
Game for game. Win for win.
What is the saying? What are the sayings?
I can show you better than I tell you?
Put up or shut up.
Hardships make one stronger.
Give em' hell. (That is for the NFL).

This story...well, the other teams SAID, said, yeah, they had bounties, but apparently that was not sufficent evidence. Ok, whatever NFL.
Things like this, you have to say, whatever and show better than you tell. The Saints vs. Goodell , Saints vs. NFL, whatever.
It is now personal. The team, Benson, the coaching staff, and the whole Saints organization, and fans too by buying tickets and showing loud and proud, all have to look at that way.
All that mattters is a W or a L after every game.

The NFL & the media have officially "jumped the shark" on this. That statement by the NFL somehow reminds me of what Queen Marie Antoinette said when informed the peasants had no bread to eat, "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche", or "let them eat cake". Just absurd.

Because nobody else kept records means it doesn't go on in other NFL locker rooms ...

TheOak 03-27-2012 07:23 AM

It almost sounds like the NFL has known about Williams system for a very long time and never stopped it. Knew about it when Williams went to the Saints and in 2009... never stopped it.

Waited until we could play home field for the SB and decided to stop it...

That's my conspiracy theory and I am sticking to it. :-)
