Yep. Everyone needs to check fox8live.com, the local tv station owned by the Saints.

The ESPN trolls like making up stories mostly.

Parcells should be there for
1) general game management (time out calling, instant replays, etc.)
2) media interactions
3) managing emergencies (e.g. roster moves if there are player injures)
4) mentoring coordinators and assistant coaches

Carmichael has to have play calling responsibilities and Spags control of the D, otherwise it won't work.

Someone on the NFL Network suggested bringing Parcells in as a "Director of Football Operations" or something along those lines, rather than as HC...I REALLY love that idea...
This is what I've been thinking all day too.

Let's not get too caught up in the "Head Coach" title.

could Goodell see re-instating Payton as a better idea than dealing with the Tuna coaching a GREAT team with no worries about next year? Parcells might just scare Goodell...If BP has no consequences to his actions, his media encounters could be PRICELESS..

MEDIA ::"coach Parcells, what do you think of the supposed bounty on Brett Farve?"

THE TUNA:::"I was not here when that supposedly happened to HER...next question"
