when are the first OTA's? if drew is to hold out or not sign or whatever, when is the first day that he would begin to lose valuable practice/training time?

He wouldn't. Remember he's the one who doesn't want to hurt the team.

and he went to them last year without a contract, and even paid for some players to get there. unofficially

I think they start on or around April 16th. He mentioned that date himself a few weeks back.

Yup, 4/16 for first OTAs. I think I heard the first time they can work with coaches on the field is 5/1. Not sure what an OTA is if there are no coaches, though, so I could be totally off.

On WDSU channel 6 news; Drew said something to the effect of they are still working on a long term and are getting really close to a signing(like anyday close).

I didn't see it but my dad called me and told me to watch it again at 10...
