I met Steve a year ago through a mutual friend, whom he had battled with on the football field. I had just learned Steve had been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).

I had spent the previous year working on a film called, “The United States of Football” and spoke to Steve about being part of the documentary. On the second day we met, in March 2011, I was hooked on the energy that is Steve Gleason and we decided to do a film about he and his wife Michel, as they “stare(d) into the eye of the tiger,” and face his diagnosis with a dignity and uncommon grace.

Steve and I are co-directing his film and also creating a video library (legacy time capsule) for his children (Michel gave birth to their first child, Rivers, in October).

Words simply cannot define they way they approach their lives. They are beautiful people.

Tru Dat

This is the 6000 word statement that accompanied the tape released by Pamphilon. Please take the time to read it. Gregg Williams completely threw the Saints under the bus to try to cover for himself.

That was a truly amazing read!

Gregg Williams should not ever be allowed to be near the game of football ever again

Well, what now.... That was a very good read. i myself a life long Saint fan and of the Nfl, has me scratching my head? What now? Gregg should never coach again after this. I just don't no how bad the Saints are going to get it after the appeals and player suspensions.
This is all a bad dream.

Guys... Hate to break it to you, but this is not "real journalism." This man USED Steve Gleason to get into the nervous system of an NFL team. Arguably the hardest nut to crack in all of pro sports. He got in because Gleason is sick and the Saints were looking to help him out with a project. They trusted this project would focus on the plight of Gleason's personal battles. That is the only reason this guy was allowed to tape anything.
Because, the only reason he was allowed into the locker room was because Gleason is sick, is also the reason nothing other than material pertaining to Gleason should have made it out of the confines of his ediing suite.
This dude KILLED any chance another person in the media has at getting "inside" access in the Saints locker room ever again.
All because he felt the need to express his opinion.
I understand, there is a call or desire for "everything" to be reported... but life doesn't work that way.
What greater good does the release of this tape serve? Williams was already suspended indefinitely.

The weather is always 72 degrees and perfect, in the Dome

My initial reaction to this was what a Piece of SH-- this sean pamheon-or whatever his name is!? Not even going to give this turd the respect to get his name right. He used Steve Gleason and his poor health improperly, and nothing whatsoever can defend that.

I don't know but what was going thru the mind of whoever allowed a tape recorder into a pregame locker room.
The saying has always been what happens on the locker room stays in the locker room so why allow a recording.
