A clear cut case of " Nobody asked you"

Tony Dungy wouldn

Dungy said he wouldn't be interested in taking the Saints job either, there's only one problem with that. Nobody asked you!!!!

No kidding. That dude is annoying sometimes.

FinSaint 04-11-2012 04:04 AM

I wouldn't even want Dungy as the baton bearer...

Is there even any confirmation that the Saints asked Parcells to take the job and he refused?

They may have come to the conclusion that they don't need an outside person to come in when Vitt will be out for only the first 6 games of the season.

, don't be so hard on Tony, guys ... he's just trying to be as relevant to the issue as Herm Edwards, ... too funny ... I'm with you Dungy, I'm not interested in taking that job either,.

Since Dungy is de facto turning down the job, does that mean the Rooney rule is now satisfied? :)

Great point!

No one asked Tony if he wanted to coach, so who cares what he has to say if not for Peyton Manning, no one would care about Tony Dungy

sharke 04-11-2012 07:31 AM

Guys, c'mon, he just wants to feel relevant again...

A) The Saints likely decided not to pursue Parcells because this situation is already a media circus and they don't want to fan the flames any more if it isn't necessary.

B) This just in: Tony Dungy has also turned down the roles of Head Anchor for NFLN, the Republican Presidential nominee and night manager at the Wendy's near his house.
