So, Markell Martin in the 3rd for the Saints.

I'd be happy with that, but do you think that someone like Derek Wolfe would still be on the board when the Saints pick in the 3rd?

They definitely need to add a DT or two, and with this year's DT class being as good and plentiful as it is, I'd like to see them pick a couple of interior D-linemen with pass rushing abilities.

Thanks Cap'n! DT & DE does make a LOT of sense for the Saints in Spags defense.. The rotation up front is what made the Giants very solid under him.

Thanks BGWD!!
Ok, so give us some DT's that might be avaliable when we pick. I'm not saying that I don't like the S pick but all our DB's would look a lot better with better DL play. Additionally, Quddus could move to SS on 3rd downs which would be an improvement on Harper and give us at least a year to upgrade there.

Look at

Brandon Thompson - Clemson
Jared Crick - Nebraska
Billy Winn - Boise St.

Those guys would be awesome additions to the Saints defense

I like the pick, Quaddus will push Jenkins for the FS spot and hopefully take it and the system Spags employs this pick makes sense. I have wanted a DT or 2 for a while but their is one in the later rounds that I hope Spags likes, a physical presence in the rush. Thanks for putting the clip togather.Crick to me might be a DE more than a DT. Nick Jean-Baptiest he's #13 on Walters DT's, natural pad level to me is a good thing.

It would be a good pick if we didn't need DT so badly. It's a good draft for DT's and I want a polished DT not one we need to groom. We need an impact player from the get go.
