Maybe add tofu to the list? We have a six-way tie here and need a tie breaker.

What a dope for making those comments while the camera was rolling.

By the way, what did Shockey do to deserve to be on the list?

neugey 04-16-2012 06:16 PM

Sapp should be on the poll, not Shockey! For making that very likely false accusation about Shockey.

Sean Payton, Mickey Loomis, and Gregg Williams. It was their fault.

My vote is Goodell, simply because he allowed all the sensationalism to get to him, then let it spread, nurtured it, and has been working tirelessly to sustain it ever since.

Cerullo is a pig for starting this BS but if Roger were anything but a vengeful brat he would have sought truth, and in so doing would have squashed these claims before they even became a second thought.

If I were to rank them in order it would be like this:

#1 Roger Goodell
#2 Mike Cerullo
#3 Sean Pamphilon
#4 The Media
#5 Gregg Williams

I could care less about Shockey, since it's obvious Cerullo was the whistle blower. Pamphilon released audio leaving out comments by Williams that could have actually defended his and the Saints' case, and stabbed Steve Gleason in the back in the process. The media is next because they have taken the torch from Goodell and done everything they possibly can to hide evidence and paint a picture of near murderous proportions.

In my opinion, Williams is only guilty of being the one DC who got caught spewing what is very typical rhetoric, and not toning it down when cameras were in the room. The guy is arrogant, but I don't think he intended to hurt anyone, as is evident by the fact no one was ever carted off. And I didn't appreciate that he never mentioned the Saints or it's fans in his apology.

What do you expect when he was clearly reading a statement prepared by Goodell?

Well that's just it, he acted like a pawn and didn't show any sympathy for us.
He let himself get bullied into his statements.
