I wouldn't be against it in the 7th, but even better if they could get him as an UDFA - still, I predict someone will pull the trigger on him before the Saints reach the point in the draft where they could pick him.

So, I don't think he'll be a Saint once the draft is over.

I say we pick up Austin Davis of Southern Miss as an UDFA. That is if we are looking for a QB. A lot of gems come out of the 6th and 7th. I just can't see using one of those picks on a QB too many other needs, with very limited picks.

Whether he'll be a free agent or not you tell him to stick around because the job is his when Brees is gone. Like Rodgers with Favre.
Yeah but Favre was already 36 years old when they drafted Rodgers. Brees is only 33. I think we can wait a couple more years.

I liked him during college he's a winner & all but it seems like to me with his lack of arm strength but crazy anticipation and accuracy he can either be the next Brees or the next Tyler Palko. We'll see...now if he doesn't even get drafted and is an Undrafted FA then I say get him....he will be low risk then because we won't have to pay him hardly anything and he can be the Canfield replacement and you can resign Daniel for 1yr next offseason & have a true backup QB competition next offseason.

I think Chase Daniels is going to get some playing time, some real playing time.
And for that to happen Drew Brees, for whatever reason, would not be playing.
I can't put my finger on it, but things somehpow get out of balance when all that money shows up.
I will be more than happy to be wrong.
The way that this season is unfolding, please let me be wrong.

Thats not a waste of a Draft pick Brees is getting no younger , by the time retires with us we will have no use for Chase Daniels and Sean Canfield isnt proven yet. We bring In Kellen(Moore) let him sit behind Bress an Co. mature get a couple 4qt blowout games and week 17 games in and Boom! future HOF

They just made Chase into the million dollar man, he got a considerable raise this year. You don't really need another quarterback right now. Especially when you have so ***** FEW draft picks and so many known flaws in your defense, and potentially so many devastating suspensions on defense coming down the pike. If it was not >>>this<<< particular year I think they might do it.
