Has no one stopped to consider that we may not know what our penalties are before the draft if the player's union keeps this up for too long? Honestly, this delay could have worse long term reprecussions for the Saints than the player suspensions will. Also, exactly which players are we so worried about losing? Vilma, who we have been complaining about losing step? Harper, who doesn't fit Spags system? Seriously, our defense is so bad that these penalties mean less than nothing to us this year, we are basically rebuilding the whole team anyway, but we need to know who they are and for how long so that we can draft and figure out Drew's contract. I don't really think the Union is our ally here.
