Question for the Forum (Two Parts)

1. Will the league announce player penaltys Monday, April 23rd 2012?

2. Will Jonathan Vilma get a Sean Payton-sized suspension or one like Joe Vitt?

I think the NFLPA interference will have it delayed until after the draft

I'm guessing around 6-8 games and a hefty fine

I'll agree with both of those and also say dragging these player penalties out is doing nothing but hurting the Saints. Not that their draft plans will change, but it makes the appeal process even longer. I'm not sure it's even worth appealing anymore.

I need to see what the NFL has or doesn't have first. I'd be thrilled if it was nothing more than a tape being doctored up.

If the league did announce player penalties they better announce Brees signing right after. Whether Vilma and the rest of the players involved get big punishment or a not as serious one is in Goodells hands and regardless it hurts the team.

I don't recall Vilma admitting any guilt.

What proof does the league have on him other than what we've been told was "said" by Vilma

There is absolutely no motivation for the FTNFL to be in any kind of hurry to announce these penalties. The longer they wait, the more problems it'll cause us and it'll give them more opportunities to take pot shots at the union.

I'm thinking as far as Vilma goes, he would have probably been told to stay at home for the season. Now that we've signed someone who'll fill his shoes, I'm thinking a six to eight weeker with plenty of moolah to go with it. The Great Dictator is gonna hit us the hardest where we're the weakest.

Seriously, this has to be about someone in the Saints organization sleeping with the top guy's wife. Nobody goes this crazy over players hitting other players. Especially in all the games when the cart was staying on the sidelines or was kept busy hauling our players off.

Commish met with union heads last week.
I think the hatchet falls this week to make yet another statement.
The greenhorns will need to know who the sheriff is round heh!
What's my name boy?
GGooddeell will shake it up this week.
Vilma gets a Greg Williams.
Then he appeals it down to a Sean Payton with 10,000 hours of community service.

Disagree. Even if at some level it hurts the Saints. There are principalities involved...
