ESPN Trust thier story so much that..

its no even mentioned on their espn nfl page anymore....its buried to a paragraph in a article about bounty gate....seems to me they may be getting nervous

They should be. Multiple credible sources. This is the mistake Sapp made when calling out Shockey. It's journalism 098 for Christ's sake.

I hope Loomie has his legal team warming up in the Bull Pen. In fact if he doesn't sue their asses off I will have to lose a little respect for the man. This is way beyond sports now.

In my opinion, sometimes you don't even need to sue over something like this... Sometimes just warming up the lawyers in the bullpen is enough to sort things out with a bogus "story" like this. Just firing up the legal team and getting the locks on their briefcases snapping open, is causing ESPN to have second thoughts about the wisdom of quoting this "source" of theirs and blaring on about it. Like a big battleship that can sail in to pirate-infested waters and suddenly cause miraculous peace just by being there. Sometimes you don't need to win, or even to sue in court, to fight a legal battle and get a result. I hope that's what's happening here.

Yep, you're right, and generally speaking I agree. But in this case if there's any way in hell I can sue I'm doing it. Big time. Making a HUGH public stink about it too, and calling out names...like a good cat fight. I'm swinging wildly without regard to collateral damage.

yeah, NFL.com has nothing on their front page about this today, and now ESPN has removed it also.

Yeah, that tells me everything i need to know about this, and i'm glad i was right about it yesterday.

What's new? ESPN tries to break a story before everyone else without any facts and their famous "sources" only to let it fade away into the sunset like nothing happened. Isn't the first nor the last time. Just a few years ago they jumped the gun and broke the news Kobe was traded to the Bulls... he wasn't. They rescinded and just pretended like it never happened.

Unless there's a game on, ESPN has been dead to me for a long time now. I can't remember the last time I actually sat down and watched a Sportscenter... which is sad because as a youngster, I'd watch it religiously.

I bet Loomis doesn't let it "fade away". I hope he nails the Evil Empire (as Bobby Hebert calls them) to the wall!

Screw that. Sue ESPN... Outright own them.

Turn their entire website and tv channel into a Saints Historical broadcast.

The only sport espn covers competently is Premiere League soccer...and thats solely because they contract everything out...
