1 suspended with proof of wrong doing. Sorry Vilma, but that was just stupid.
21-26 players with possible suspensions with no proof, and having never been questioned.

My vote is exactly one less than it takes to field a defense for season play.

There is a lot more to this than just a number when it comes to how it will or will not affect our play.

• He could suspend 10 staggered through out the season.
• He could suspend 1 and the NFLPA appeal could put it off for a year.
• Since a lot of this is distributed through out three years, he could take a few seasons to distribute the suspensions.

He could shock and awe the NFL nation by suspending players that are on other teams that either played for the Saints in that three year period or players that have publicly admitted to it.

I'd like for there to be an option for "none" since that is what I'm hoping for, and recent signs may prove that to be a well founded hope.


But, I voted for 1 - Vilma as the ring leader and scapegoat, so that Goodell is able to save some face.

Very difficult for me to imagine Vilma and Smith get dinged and not Fujita.

I picked 4. I have no reason to believe 4 will be suspended other than a gut feeling. Goodell suspends too few, and everybody else in the league sees it as a slap on the wrist. Suspend too many, and everybody sees it as the dictator bringing down the heavy fist of the all powerfull NFL. So I think 4 is a good middle of the road number.
