True.

I just feel surprisingly confident about the DBs in general - the players and the schemes - probably because Spags and Flajole just went through a horrible season in regards to DBs with the Rams - over 10 DBs on IR - and they were able to get even 4th string guys to perform well as starters.

We had 5 CB's on our roster last year.

J Greer
P Robinson
T Porter
J Patrick
L Torrence

We only lost Porter and Torrence.
Patrick should step up and replace Porter effectively
White becomes J Patrick of last year

so that leaves Leigh Torrence who is basically a journeyman CB / special teams player easily replaced.

We aren't nearly as thin as people think.

I don't believe for a second that Sean isn't involved.

Right or wrong, that just doesn't compute.

Do you mean Corey White?

I am looking forward to Gumbs making it. If for nothing else, the name alone has great potential! :)

Corner is a tough spot.
The key is to position a guy to do what he is already good at.
Some guys press&cover well, some zone-close well, some (very few) can do it all.
Spags has to evaluate each guys strengths and then play to our strengths.
We definitely shouldn't leave a guy who's shoe strings are tied together with
no help over the top.
My sincere hope is that our DBs don't have to give as much run support as they
have been called to give in the past. Banging with bruisers has got to take something
away from your coverage reserves, especially late into the game.
