Ryan Clark says Pittsburgh Steelers unlikely to ratify CBA without Roger Goodell limits - ESPN

"We feel like someone else should be on there; there should be some ... type of way -- actually someone who's not on the NFL payroll," Clark said. "A big issue, for us, especially, as a team, is Roger Goodell ... being judge, jury and appeals system."

A friend of mine who is a Steelers fan and hates Goodell as much as us reminded me of this. I'm pretty sure at the time most of us rolled our eyes at the Steelers and just wanted football back. But in hindsight, the Steelers players saw the writing on the wall and what Goodell wanted. The players agreed to a CBA that gave him way too much power and we're seeing him abuse it now at the expense of the Saints. Hopefully there's some loophole where our appeals can be heard by someone not named Roger Goodell. While it may be too late for the Saints, you can bet a huge issue in the next collective bargaining agreement will be how much power the commissioner should have.

That was because of Rapistburger and the fines being handed down to their D- Players.

oddly enough the only people unhappy with Goodell being the Saddam of the NFL are those teams that have never been on the receiving end of his wrath.
