Stay classy. The attending fans deserve more than us showing our ass because we're p[issed at Goodell.

The rookies trying to make the team don't need this statement crap either.

The coaches trying to prepare for a season without their coach don't need this crap either.

I'd be extremely disappointed if we did some childish crap like this.

Its obvious to most fans of the game who the ******* here is, lets not confuse the issue.
Nothing said here will ever happen, but the saddest thing is to be kind of cowardly and do nothing . So we can look good to the rest of the NFL. Id be really disappointed if we just tow the line to show our respectability.

Our respect is gone, there is none, hope you understand that. This team is scum in the eyes of 27 teams and their fans, that haven't admitted something. I would be more than happy to show you what they think of us.

You will be living with 20 years of bountygate unless someone does something. Like the Pats. Our team will always be cheats , liars, and it won't matter later. Personally I always thought the definition of childish was someones ability NOT to grow up, and see the world for what is was.
If you want to live like a mole thats fine, just don't ask us to. Burring your head in the sand solves nothing. Ask the Patriots how well that worked out for them. If we have a legitimate reason to fight we should, by any means at our disposal.

Any

The saints got extremely lucky. The fact that the saints organization even still exists is a surprise. What if a saints player killed someone? If anyone can find just one gruesome hit by a saints player in the past few years the NFL might lose everything, because saints players got incredibly idiotic.

One hit is all it will take for a jury to award ex NFL players insane amounts of money in any of the lawsuits.

And you are trying to say that every team has something like this is somehow an excuse. It isn't. The saints were just dumb enough to get caught.

There is no way Sean Payton should not be banned from the NFL for life, along with Gregg Williams, the GM, and the saints entire front office. You can't say they all didn't know.

You also can't possibly believe Drew Brees and offensive players didn't know. I am sure they had an inkling.

The other thing I think Goodell should have very publicly done is announced that if anything even remotely negative to the NFL happens in the Saints organization that the NFL will force Benson to sell.

If any of this research of head concussions comes out like everyone will think it will, the NFL will be in for a world of financial pain. The bounty scandal just increases the amount of money lawyers will steal from the NFL. And one really horrid looking hit with a few bad looking hits or penalties and the NFL could be forced to pay out billions per year.

What do you think the NFLPA would do if the NFL had to bring the cap number down to $50 million again because it simply didn't have the money?
This sound rational? well get used to it. Its what I deal with every day, and what you will deal with shortly.

I tell you what I would love to see. I would love to see someone pop the crap out of one of our opponents, and then have someone like RH walk over to him in front of everybody and pull a Benjamin out of his pants and hand it to the guy. Now that would be funny.

IDK, I think I'd like to see you guys play the game, and in those infamous words of Martez Wilson that I so often see in FinSaint's signature tag, "don't be thinking at all, just go out there and play your balls out" ... of course, if the coaching staff thinks it's best to treat it as an additional pre-season game in order to evaluate talent & prepare for the regular season, I'm Ok with that also.

I've talked to several fans that think we were screwed over. I'm hearing more and more calls to sports shows from fans, commentators, experts and players both former and current who think we got screwed.

The definition of childish is an adult acting like a child, which perfectly describes the actions you're supporting.

If you want to live like a mole thats fine, just don't ask us to.
If you wanna live like a spoiled childish brat thats fine, just don't ask me to.

Burring your head in the sand solves nothing.
Agreed, thats why I don't bury my head in the sand.

WTF does that mean?

I agree on playing the game just as is to not start anymore trouble but in reality, who gives a rat's arse what the fans of the rest of the league think about us or the Saints

I do. Increased fan interest increases the likelyhood of more and more prime time games.

We should give a rats ass.... Remember, the NFL is driven by $ and popularity. That is how favor is gained. New Orleans lost a % of fan base over all this crap this year, and while we as fans do not need the ones who walked, the SAINTS do need them.

The larger the fan base, the larger the revenue generation, the bigger impact to the NFL's bottom line.

That's the ugly, unpopular truth. Deny it, ignore it, what ever.... It will not change that.... I am going to see if i can find something on the web that ranks teams in order of revenue generation.

Found it as of 2011: Now in your head think about all the teams that get air time either radio, news, commentary etc when you go through this list.

We'll just agree to disagree but if anything this offseason has driven that spike of either your with us or against us a lot deeper in me ....

For some strange reason the Saints tend to play better when they are underdogs and none of the media puppets talk about them, I just can't wait for the season to start

Well LOl I sort of can.... The amount of sheer frustration we will have to endure with scrub refs making bad calls if there is a strike may be unbearable.
