Giants explicit regarding take out hits after game

Nice read. Factual and objective. Its so obvious that this whole deal vs the Saints is such a one sided, vindictive reaction by the commish...

The first case involves the Giants, and it closely dovetails the Saints on the timeline. One week after the Saints lost to the 49ers in a divisional playoff game that was preceded by former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams' now-infamous pregame speech to the defense, the Giants beat San Francisco in the NFC championship game.

That conference title game turned on a fumbled punt in overtime, and afterward some Giants special teams players said the turnover was a dividend they actively sought. 49ers backup return man Kyle Williams has suffered concussions -- the injury at the very heart of much of the growing litigation the NFL faces -- and he muffed one punt return, then made the critical fumble.

After the game, Giants rookie linebacker Jacquian Williams said, "the thing is, we knew he had four concussions, so that was our biggest thing, to take him out of the game."

Devin Thomas, who recovered Williams' miscues, echoed that theme.

I don't remember anyone in the media calling the Giants out for "Targeting a player know to have mulitple concussions". Do you?

Yep, known about those statements they made for a while now. Just waiting for the rest of the world, specifically the media to catch on.

I just love the part in the article where Aiello says that the video shows no intent to injure... There is no intent to injure in our videos either. Thanks for making our point jack***.

What are the chances that it's really going to matter in the long run? I mean, I'm totally on board with the fact that those statement's by the Giants are far worse than any "proof" that Der Furher claims to have against the Saints... but is anything going to come from it?

After ALL that has come out, and the damage RG1 has done to the league and its credibility, it would not surprise me in the lease if the Gang of 32 have compiled evidence for dismissal, and are now actively searching out a replacement.
