LSU's Chad Jones released from Giants ... Should we sign him?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I love Chad. Chad is blessed that he survived and can still walk. I'm an LSU homer as the next LSU fan, but I just don't think Chad is NFL material anymore. Like Beast said, I would like to see ...

I love Chad. Chad is blessed that he survived and can still walk. I'm an LSU homer as the next LSU fan, but I just don't think Chad is NFL material anymore. Like Beast said, I would like to see Chad go to baseball. For his injuries he suffered in the wreck, I think football will re-injure those wounds.

Go baseball Chad. Please.

I think they knew he was never going to fully recover but what could they do... they had to give him support, otherwise they would have looked cold and heartless.

Exactly. To cut him then would make them look like the devil... This way they supported him and gave him a year.

seems like the giants put it on him like a workers comp injury. they will nurse u back to health or the best they can do then the company sees they got all they could out of u. and after that they owe u nothing. which in his case the injury had nothing to do with football and they stood by him till he were back as good as he could be. u have to give it to the giants on this one.

I read somewhere last night the reason they cut him was because he couldn't pass a physical. If he can't pass the physical, there is nothing to look at...
