hell give him the team as long as he wears a saints uni :bng:

If the Saints do not get this done and if it was legal I would surely give what I could afford at the time at least $100 though. I am sick that it has came to this where this is even a speculation.

From me? A blank check on my old bank account. If he can't cash it then he can play basketball with it.

I'd give the money to this board/Halo first.

I'd pony up some cash for Loomis to stick to his guns.

I can give him all the money on my old Bank Of America account which I left behind when I moved back to Finland... it's been collecting interest for two years, so there might be enough for Brees to buy himself a beer at the Superdome.

But seriously, it's not like Benson doesn't have the money to pay Brees what he wants or that TB lacks the desire to do that - it's simply a matter of fitting Brees' contract under the salary cap while leaving enough of the cap to keep the rest of the team competitive.

I mean it would be nice if they'd just pay him what he wants to finally put this whole thing to rest, but how pissed would we all be if that meant that they couldn't offer Graham a competitive contract, causing him to go to another team?
