Brees overestimating his worth
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; i don't believe inevery situation is at all the same, those lawyers treat cases differently, by star, by wworth,age,how much u are liked, disliked hundreds of senerio's and brees for one is in the worst because its all the above. ...

jack motherload too to cash in on the qbs that are on fire. its a contract that show have been taken cared of last year when he is still under the last year. it shows respect that way in the nfl. and if they tried they did'nt try hard enough. |

There was a brief window in Marino's career where he was on air and stated he was considering leaving Miami to come to New Orleans and would have been paired with that defense; and he had the clout to neutralize Mora's overdone conservatism...
I think the depression for the disappointment in that not happening stayed with me until 13 July 1999 13:35 hours when my daughter was born at Baptist in New Orleans... Had it happened, the Saints team would have easily had two-three SB trophies because that defense was that damn good... |

Well that's only because Manning had a bounty on his head. I'm sure he would've played better if our bloodthirsty defense wasn't trying to rip his guts out for lunch.

And as Marino's career progressed, with the focus on the strength of his arm - the offense changed, and the defense got old... Miami had always been a grind and D team before Marino - you accentuate my point of how great a quarteback Marino was to pass so successfully early on with a team that was not built to his talents... |
