This Draft Will Make This Team Better !
The analyst made a great point during the draft when they said that the problem with the saints was not the talent,but the character issues.I agree that New Orleans is not the best place for immature kids coming out of college,or players who can't control themselves off the field.Our players are constantly surrounded by a party like atmosphere.We also have players who can't control what and how much they eat.It must be hell for them to be surrounded by so much good food.These players need to grow up and learn some self control.I think that the players drafted this weekend have better character than some of the players already on the roster.I also believe that they will become the future leaders on this team.Haslett and company have had enough of all the childish antics in the locker room,and they are going to send a clear message to the whole team.If you can't act like a mature adult off the field,and you can't play this game with class,then you will be gone.Just because you can play the game does not make you great.The way you carry yourself on and off the field is a direct reflection of this team and this organization.Now maybe they can quit fighting over card games, making phone calls during games,and eating like it's their last meal.If some of these things don't change,you might see some of our most talented players run out of New Orleans.Now they are starting to get people that can replace them.I think we will see a whole new attitude this year.
