Question for the Forum:

This year when it becomes obvious that the Saints will make the playoffs as either a wildcard or division winner, does anyone think Kommisar Goodell will suddenly "discover" some "new evidence" and suspend more Saints players in an attempt to de-rail the Saints run at an historic Super Bowl appearance?

I wonder if Goodell is possibly behind the scenes of the Brees contract negotiations attempting to further derails the talks and keep Brees off the field?

In case anyone is wondering, I am not drunk, (I don't drink); it is late at night and I am bored.

I hate conspiracy theories, but if this happens, I will start wearing a foil hat, fo sho!

Though it seems a little farfetched, I still would not put something like that past Goodell.

This all ties into Area 51, but no one believes me.

kind of sounding more akin to black helicopters...

I agree that it sounds a little far-fetched, but Goodell is already in the making-a-silk-purse-out-of-a-sow's-ear business.

It sounds crazy, but crazy is as crazy does. Goodell has handled the whole thing so poorly - a fact I find amazing because it's not like the man is an idiot - that I wouldn't be surprised at anything about this story anymore.

His agenda is clear, and I have every belief that he will throw any team or player or coach under the bus if necessary. There's enough money at stake for him to justify it in his clearly misguided mind.

His agenda is clear. Boy is that an accurate statement?

I honestly don't think it's a matter of Goodell having something specifically against the Saints - they just happened to be the ones who got caught at a time when it was necessary for the league and Goodell to show publicly that they are serious about protecting player safety.

Nevertheless, I don't agree with how this thing has been handled by the league and Goodell, and I wouldn't shed a tear for them if this all comes crashing down on them.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they are not after you!

People who don't believe in conspiracy are uneducated, naive and plain stupid.
I suppose you believe everything on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News? How about the NFL?

The news media was bought out years ago. It's the biggest crock of chit on TV. Here's why...

Fractional Reserve Banking

Being skeptical is a sign of being well educated, experienced as opposed to naive, and intelligent, not stupid. Yes, I am skeptical of conspiracy theories. I question everything, including what the news media says. Hell, if I believed everything on Fox News, I would think the President is the anti-Christ.

I believe what makes logical sense to me. Most conspiracy theories simply don't.

I didn't watch the video, so if it is ridiculous and you were just trolling, then I tip my hat to you, sir.
