I honestly drove the "cut vilma" bandwagon last season when he stunk. but his testicular fortitude over the last couple months make me wish they would keep him, pay him, and let him sit the bench (I still think that Lofton is better than Vilma only because of Vilmas health). Vilmas health decline really sucks for him and his career...but this my friends is what you call "going down swinging". Got to respect a man who stands up to authority the way he is

According to STATS, LLC, Vilma has played in 42 games since 2009 and has been penalized three times in that span. Two-thirds of NFL defensive players who played in 40 or more games during that same period were penalized more than Vilma.
