I am beginning to believe GW set the Saints up!

Question I am beginning to believe GW set the Saints up!

I think that GW knew that the Saints weren't going to re-sign him and the league was looking into the Saints 'bounty' program. Possibly SP chewed the Tax Reform Act out of him at some point in the season and told him he was as good as gone once the season was over.

I keep thinking about the 'pep talk' that he gave before the Divisional playoff game against the 40-whiners last year.

Had GW ever gone into detail before other games about targeting a players ACL, or saying kill the head and the rest of it? If he has, then my point is pretty much shot down in flames.

But if not, and he knew the video a$$-clown Pamphilon (?), was going to be filming, maybe he juiced up his rhetoric, knowing that such talk would be like waving a red cape in front a bull.

GW probably didn't think the commissioner was going to suspend him for a year, but I truly think GW fueled the fire to try and set up the Saints!

Feel free to tell me I am nuttier-than-a-wooden watch with this idea!!

"A Veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life."

The organization knew they were looking into the bounty system 2 years ago when everyone first denied and tried to cover it up, supposedly...

But yeah Gregg knew his time was up...

Only thing Im positive of is that GW is goodell's ace in the hole, and lap dog.
The indefinite suspension is to make GW do what ever he wants, and use him for info. If GW doesn't deal with Goodell then he never coaches again.

IMO GW will say whatever he has to when given evidence to save his career.
This is the problem with one man holding to much power. If GW doesnt play nice he will not get reinstated next season,he knows it,GODell knows its.

I just can't reiterate as strongly as I would want the anger I'm going to feel when GW is allowed to return to the NFL after this coming season, and in effect serve the same punishment as SP with the only difference being that SP also loses a ton of money in comparison to GW.

That will be an injustice of huge magnitude, but I'm 100% sure that it will happen if Goodell is still the commissioner when that decision is made.

The players would have come out if GWs pregame speech in SF was out of the norm.
