But something smells suspiciously like gold digger, to me. Hope I'm wrong, but then what difference does it make.

20 years of marriage and the raising of two kids shows little signs of gold digging and plenty of contribution towards the buying of the house. He's probably thankful she didn't get one of his testicles too.

She's just going to sell it for the money.

It really sucks for them, and I know how it feels.

I know what happened leading up to his move to Dallas. Beyond that I have no idea, but I know why they moved there.

Let me say again that I don't claim to know for sure the reasons. But as for your comment about 20 years of marriage... That doesn't disprove the possibility of gold digging. Sean has been in coaching for a long time, and there is a lot of money involved in that. You'd be surprised how long a person will live a lie to benefit themselves financially. I don't know that Sean's wife is one of those people, but the fact that she got so much stuff makes it sound like she drove some pretty hard pre-nups, or maybe something more recent agreement, but either way it seems pretty steep. He brings home the bacon, and while she was there to help raise the kids I don't consider that contributing to buying a house. I don't know who's fault it is for breaking up their marriage, but I just think it's stupid that she got as much as she did.

I don't know why we're talking about this, though, so let's talk about something more positive. Training camp is almost here, and I'm looking forward to some real football news!

You are correct. But 20 years of marriage does dramatically dampen suspicion of it.

Thing is they were together well before he became a successful coach... before he became any kind of coach. Together before he went undrafted to the NFL.

Or the fact they didn't have a pre-nup? He was a position coach in the college ranks when they were married. Half of poop is still poop. He didn't become this successful until way later in his coaching career. It's the law of the land which is why she's getting what she's getting. Unless there's a pre-nup, she's getting half.

This shows your age, inexperience, and the fact you probably don't have any kids. Also, have you read her bio? She's not sitting at home being a trophy wife. This isn't one of those run in the mill pieces of gold digging eye candy we're talking about here. 20 years of marriage... she's getting what the law says she deserves.

This is more interesting to me than all that bounty stuff.

Right now, if Mickey Loomis walked outside and dropped a turd in a punch bowl, that would be more interesting than all this bounty stuff.

Bounty/Goodellgate is nauseating. I'm only covering it to give what I can to "the fight" and a little google bump which hurts King Roger. Otherwise, I'm sick to my stomach.

So ... losing the Disco ... isn't that addition by subtraction?!

Coach is suffering......that's all I know. However, his wife was supportive of him and his move here. For that alone I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Not the DISCO!!!!!!

... meh, Sean knows disco's dead ... died back in the late 70's ... I remember going to a Tigers/White Sox double-header at Cominsky Park where the cost of admission was a disco record & a buck ... a local Detroit/Chicago DJ (Steve Dahl) ceremoniously blew up the records between games ... yep, disco officially died that evening ... it was a steamy night and a hot Chicago tramp made a man out of a young SloMo visiting the Windy City for the first time, ... not really, just a little something-something to spice up the story ....
