I kinda think they may be interested in him in order to trade someone else.

Maybe someone wants Kenny Smith or Willie Whitehead and landing Stubby would give us some flexibility in a trade.

Land Stubb, trade Kenny Smith and a 2nd/3rd rounder to Green Bay for McKenzie???

Jim Flynn, of PewterReport.com, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still have interest in free agent DT Dana Stubblefield (Raiders), who was recently cleared to run on his surgically repaired ankle last week. Stubblefield (ankle) visited the Buccaneers back on Mar. 2, but was not offered a contract because his ankle was not healthy enough for him to pass a physical.

Having interest is a funny thing in the NFL. Teams will throw their name in a hat just to make another team overpay.

Couldn\'t hurt to add Stubblefield though, because while we\'re suddenly deep at defensive end, the same is not also true about defensive tackle.
