I don't know if anything will be a brees this year.

Something funny, History can be made by the Saints several times before actually going to the Superbowl. In 10 years there has never been a repeat winner of the NFC South Championship. Also the Saints making the playoffs for a fourth consecutive season would be something that they have never done.

There really isn't anybody to compete with.

Its going to be tough man. Carolina is my sleeper, I don't see Atlanta getting much if any better, and Tampa will be Tampa. The teams that scare me the most that stand in our way of the Super Bowl are SF and Detroit. SF just made its offense scary better unless Smith goes back to the same Smith he's been since he entered the league. Detroit got on a roll and their D will be even tougher this year. Other than those two teams noone scares me.

What about the Packers? New York? Philly?

I also see Caroline as the sleeper in our Division.

It may not be pretty (without a H/C), but New Orleans is still my favorite to win the NFC South ... the battle in that division is going to be for second place as Carolina/Tampa challenge the Falcons.

SanFran remains the #1 threat to the Saints in the playoffs, not because last years win was so convincing, but because of Harbaugh ... like him or not (and I don't), he's a great motivater, does his homework and will exploit an opponent's weaknesses. The Lions will continue to be entertaining, but until they get a running game and prove they can control themselves on/off the field, they're not serious contenders. Greg Jennings (GB) hit the nail on the head with his assessment of Detroit: Greg Jennings questions Lions' composure.

Philly, <scratches head>, is always overrated and I wouldn't expect the Giants to squeak into the playoffs & run the table again. That would leave Green Bay, who despite their great regular season last year, showed they could be beaten in the playoffs at home.

All-in-all, things are looking up and it's gonna' be a pretty good season for the Saints..

It will either be a crash-n-burn season, or smooth and triumphant.
At this point I believe any hickups will be about coaching... As far as for players, we have any unknowns covered. Vilma is the only one, but I have full confidence in the plan laid out so cover for that...

Has everyone forgot that even though opposing teams are a bit better from last year, we've made some pretty big improvements Aswell

San fran have improved, but not to the point where they will soundly beat us

Detroit are going to be a good team for years to come if they fix their D, and get an RB to stay healthy

We are no slouch, other teams should be scared of us Aswell

Yes to winning the division but it won't be easy.

and want to add my support behind Carolina sleeper, maybe a year or two away from a huge threat but getting there.
