Anyone think we acquire another bigger name player before camp ends?
 

With the almost 9 mil in cap space we have left we could afford to sign another big named player to the roster. Do you think we should? If so who is out there that you would like to see us take a look at?

Frankly I'd like to see us go with what we've got. Jimmy 'gon want his money too, and I want to pay him - make him a Saints for life dammit.

I tend to agree. I wouldn't mind getting him locked up right away while he is still in the mind frame of "I will retire when Brees retires". Before he gets wise to the ways of NFL business.

Only if Spags really felt that he needed to bring in someone at DE in order to establish a solid pass rush, but I'd also like to see that cap room used in other ways, as in re-signing Graham or just moving it to next year's cap.

9 isn't enough to land Freeney unless they sprinkle some Loomis magic on a two year deal. He is still scary and would be our first elite pass rusher in years.
