Greer injures groin

God I hope its not serious. He is one of our best defensive players and that is one position that is pretty shallow. I hope its something he gets over quick, but with our history of groin injuries this could be bad. Very bad. Hopefully with Spags new front 4 approach we can get away with a little bet weaker backfield for a while.**** ME.

Hope its not to serious and he's back soon, worse case just rest him till the Redskins game

Danno 07-31-2012 01:45 PM

He's a bust.

Injuries are bound to happen........let's just keep them minor.

HOF in less than a week. Preseason ahead. He already understands the position. SIT HIM! All the way to week 1.

He is learning a different system going from zone to cover with Spags. These practices and pre season games are more important than ever.

Maybe we can work a deal to get Romo.

As a veteran cornerback, I'm sure he is well prepared with zone and man to man cover skills... He'll be alright with limited preseason time if need be

Luda34 07-31-2012 06:07 PM

He has a month to heal hopefully he's ready for the beginning of the season

Stealthman 07-31-2012 08:46 PM

Blessing in disguise. This will give some of our younger guys more reps.

Hopefully, PRob & Greer will heal quickly.

alleycat_126 07-31-2012 09:04 PM

How bad is it, has anybody heard?

LOL !

I am very worried about our secondary. We may have patched the defensive line and LB corps but our secondary really is hurting - no pun intended. We have no one left on the secondary to stop the passing attack and we are up against many top QB this season. It will be our Achilles heal this year.

Your just wrong, and The Dude is just right... I am 1% positive he has never played one down in 4 years of high school or 4 years of College in any scheme other than those of Greg Williams .

Hopefully it's not a injury that comes and goes or lingers all season. Rest it completely now.

lee909 08-01-2012 09:35 AM

Not a injury to mess around with.
Sit him till he is 100% ready. Its easy to retreat a groin injury.

It's one place we look short of depth.

Corners out: For the second consecutive day, starting cornerbacks Jabari Greer and Patrick Robinson missed practice with injuries.

Greer, who has a sore groin, was not on the field. Robinson, who hurt a shoulder in practice on Sunday, was on a stationary bike at the start of practice.
If this is correct, looks to not be too serious...
