The Next Elite Receiver

The conversation about the NFL receivers essentially begins and ends with a "big three" in Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. By December, it will be at least the Big Four. I predict New Orleans Saints receiver Adrian Arrington will make it that way. "I definitely want to be mentioned with those guys," Arrington said. ...

The next elite receiver

I believe Colston has been a pro bowl snub since his rookie year... Do I believe AA has pro bowl potential? Yes colston and Moore to... But the saints recievers get NO respect cause Brees throws to the open guy... I love out receiving corps I believe they are among the NFL's best. Yes credit Drew but also credit Colton's and Grahams one handed catches. That AMAZING catch Moore had in Baltimore game in the corner of the endzone. I think AA has the potential to be all those!

None of our reciievers will ever be considered anywhere near elite. WE spread the ball around to much for them toget the stats and unfortunatly stats are what most people consider when thinkng elite.

I disagree! Jimmy Graham is elite, no matter who you are!

Can we stop it with the AA stuff already.....lol. Joe Morgan will finally seal AA's fate (thank god)

Joe Morgan and Nick Toon are already better then Arrington to me.

I agree 100%

Colston could find himself in the HOF without ever making the Pro Bowl at the rate he's going. Right now, he's averaging more than TO over the same span.

ChrisXVI 08-03-2012 08:16 PM

That would be so awesome! I just hope that he gets more respect after he retires than he does now!

Marques Colston is basically London Fletcher but plays a different position. They both are outstanding players who put up outstanding numbers, but tend to get overshadowed by flashier players at their respective positions.

With the exception of a couple of flashes Toon was looking all the part of a rookie before he was injured.
