Good for SP!

"Coach, place the flash drive with the first half of the season's game plan behind the bust of O.J. Simpson"

Mardigras9 08-03-2012 03:51 PM

That's awesome, good start to preseason.

Some Sean Payton media shenanigans and sarcasm in the face of Goodell at the big event has possibly just made this weekend worthwhile. I can't wait to see what comes out of this. Can you say, CIRCUS? Should be fun!

Remember when Payton did the golf tournament, and they had the whole comedy routine about him being there and Mark Ingram also being there, and them not being able to talk to each other, they had to go in and out of different exits of the building and tee off at different times and stuff. Comedy GOLD. Payton used it to show how ABSURD the suspension is. I bet they have something up their sleeve for this one, too.

Will be funny to see Payton call Ray Anderson 80 times in a row on Monday morning, one separate call for each separate Saint he sees at the induction. Anderson's phone will be ringing off the hook. "But the rules say I have to call you each time I have contact with a player," LOL. Or maybe Payton will call him at 3 AM, since the rules say it has to be within 24 hours.

I just unearthed a new tool the Saints will use on the sidelines....

I think this is BIG. gOODELL is showing everyone he can be merciful, if you just go along with his lies he calls rules and evidence.

And probably because to show Vilma up. He could reinstate SP for good behavior, and I hope so.

I'm sure no football will be discussed on the plane :P

Sean Payton can go to Canton, but not to Saints game

Update: Coach Payton will be able to go to the ceremony but NOT attend the actual game...

"allowed to go"

They're really making him sound like a prisoner.

He probably has Direct TV on his phone anyway.

You know, I'm really getting fed up with the NFL. It's not really related to this topic but the reaction that I'm having to it... I'm sick and tired of the NFL becoming such a soap opera. I love my Saints don't get me wrong, but I'm appalled at how much drama there is nowadays in this sport.

LBCutta 08-03-2012 07:50 PM

I dont see why he wouldnt be allowed to go

ScottF 08-03-2012 08:24 PM

Goddell is showing faux mercy for the cameras.
Put a leash on the dog and prop him up in front of the media

Coach Payton is are 12 man.

A little off topic but coach P would have been proud tonight. I just got back from the Country music concert in the Dome. Kenny Chesney did a AWESOME tribute to Sean P. As the song "Boys of Fall" started playing, he held up a free payton t-shirt and said "this **** is personal to me". Man it was Awesome!! The dome lit up like it was game day. Almost as loud to. Then the Who Dat chants started after the song was over.

Goodell is getting revenge... He is claiming retribution for being made to look like the ass he is.

At first Payton being allowed to go was perceived as mercy... a ray or hope or light (even fans got caught up in it).

Then that feeling was crushed by the ... "I never said he could go to the game"...

Goodell is fkn with the Saints/Payton/and the fans...

Here is a nibble. take it back... wana bite? Nope!! I might let you smell it. naaahhh
