Why do I say this? For a guy that has marginally made the team until now, I've noticed reporting/comments regarding a lack of effort on special teams on his part...

The Saints need a team player not a t.o.
And that's why Roby always makes the team and Arrington doesn't... Roby is ready and willing to play special teams and does a damn good job at it.

Exactly. Roby plays all out on Punt coverage. He's usually the first Saint down the field and he's not afraid to put a lick on the return man.

New Orleans Saints practice report: Up day for WR Andy Tanner; down day for WR Joe Morgan - New Orleans Saints Football NFL News - NOLA.com

The past few days all i've seen is reports of joe morgan struggling, looks like he's not the guy that will take over meachems empty spot
I will wait to see how he looks in pre season games. Colston didn't look great in camp either, but earned his spot during games.

If you read the article it says that Morgan had a bad day, not a bad camp. Sounds like he burned his guy with great speed just couldnt hold on to the ball. This Tanner guys name keeps on coming up more and more, can he play special teams? Its nice to have so much competition at one position. Whoever the victims are I hope they clear waivers so we can stash them on PS. If someone goes down we won't miss a beat.

Roby has exactly 1 catch in the NFL in the last 6 years, and 3 fumbles. He has 38 tackles in his 8 years in the league, which averages out to about 1 tackle in every 4 games.

I don't think Roby has a whole lot to brag about compared to any WR on our roster.
