Me, I'm working today then going to do some wings

I'm at the girlfriends and have to head back to NOLA to pay the rent (due today on the 5th).

I have bbq and lots-o-wine awaiting.

I'm going to get some wings too. Normally I fry them up at the restaurant and bring them home, but I don't feel like it today. WHO DAT!!!! Anyone gonna be on chat tonight?

My plans are I got no plans. The wife and girlfriends are going to a minor league baseball game (the Bees Ashley) and leave me alone to play, then back up then re-play in slo mo then jump past commercials, all while yelling obscenities at the t.v. to my hearts content.

Unfortunately, I have to work tonight so I won't be able to watch the game. I will have it tuned in on the radio, though.

Suicide is ALWAYS an option, D. :wink:

I do hate the Saints, but anyone who loves football should be excited for this game. It's been long enough without some football and I miss all the action.

Some drunk guy on Airline Drive asked me when the first preseason game was earlier. I told him tonight at 7 PM, then he asked if it was at the Dome!

I should have told him "of course," then sold him some old Snickers wrappers from the floorboard of my truck as tickets. He was obviously a huge fan, after all!

Ugggh. Don't say that. I know you're joking but I just got word a close friends 14 year old daughter died today (just now). We don't realize it but it's just not a joking matter.

So tell me, what makes you think you guys can unseat us as NFCS champs this year? Instead of just coming here with posts like "I hate the Saints" why don't you try and explain how your team is better based on facts.

I wanted to post here. I can do whatever I feel like.

I think the Falcons can win the South this year because of all the drama with the Saints this year. We've gotten a bit stronger on defense with a Asante Samuel and our new Defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, and we're using a new scheme this year on offense that I say can make us more successful. If all of these things come together well, I think we can win the NFC South again and get that playoff victory everyone is asking for.

For reference you cannot just do what you feel like in the Saints forum.
Especially on Gameday we ask all guests to not interfere with our discussions if they plan to troll etc.

You just being happy with a playoff victory shows how unsuccessful your franchise has been in the last decade. While you are looking for just a playoff win we are looking to win the Super Bowl. If being distracted is your only reason for us not winning the south then obviously you have no idea what we have done in the offseason to field what many say is the most talented team we have ever had. Ryan will still be Ryan and continue to choke. You have a new dc but so do we. We also have much better all around talent at just about every position.

2 1/2 more hours Who Dats!! Let's just hope they don't talk about all the off season crap no more than just a opening statement.

As expected, looks like no Mark Ingram tonight, and maybe not for the entire preseason. Sucks, but if the extended rest pays off in the regular season I won't complain. I expect we'll see a good deal of Ivory.

Also interested to see the WR's tonight, but Toon won't be playing, either. Finally get a chance to see if Arrington's "spectacular" preseason translates to the field!

We are the only NFC team to have a winning season in each of the last four seasons. If Ryan will not become what we think we can be, we would have saw it already and gotten rid of him years ago. The Bounty program is not the only reason why I think the Falcons will win the South. Read my post again.

If we win a playoff game this year, I will be happy, but I wont be satisfied.

Yeah, the bad thing is that I have a work schedule that puts me working every other weekend. The good thing is that I will have DVR by this Thursday, so I won't technically miss any games. I will just have to refrain from any kind of information about the final score until I get to watch it.

Did you mean Greer? He'll be back for game 1 hopefully

Believe me, you'll want to watch the 1st quarter. After that it's guys they want to have playing time and camp bodies.
