Uhhh... the Rams ranked in the top half of the league in sacks the past two years. Also, you don't think Spags had any part with developing those elite pass rushers in New York? They are also still running the same system.

So you pick a thread out of a different forum and you then make a generalization that the Saints fan base as a whole wanted your defensive coordinator? One thread in on a different board doesn't speak for the whole Saints nation.

What does this mean? I would expect you guys to be happy that you got a good DC but the statement was you didnt get the one you wanted.

Our organization got exactly who we wanted. Spags was our front office's target and we got him. As far as the fans are concerned, some got their first choice, some got their second. Some got their third. I know for damn sure I got my first choice. And unless you can poll the entire Saints nation, you're just making a blanket assumption.

The Falcon fans are obviously happy with a 1 quarter look at their starting defense, let them be happy...
