#saints make roster moves, waived LB Nate Bussey and waived/injured DB A.J. Davis & G Andrew Tiller.

Also sign 3 players

New Orleans Saints‏@Saints
The Saints have signed DB Nick Hixson, G Paul Fenaroli & TE Daniel Graham
Never liked the Tiller pick, at all.

Still not liking the Jones pick, but it looks like he may prove me wrong so far.

I thought Tiller was going to IR? He must really suck if we aren't even going to keep him at the facility.

He prolly will Scott. I'm reading that in order to IR a player in pre-season, he has to clear waivers first.

Its probably a new CBA rule to prevent teams from stashing everyone on IR if they get a hangnail in training camp.

Yikes..has been in the league for 10 years and was released from the Titans with 2 years left on his contract. Doesn't bode well that a team would rather pay you your contract and have you leave then play for them.

But we get him much cheaper, and its no guarantee he even makes the team.

Low risk, high reward. He'll be cut before the 53 is announced, and resigned after week 1 if necessary. This way his salary isn't guaranteed.

I hear ya. I wasn't refering so much to how much money we will have to pay him. I was more referring to the fact that he has been an under achiever his entire career. Got a good pay day with the Broncos and then got bounced. Then get bounced from the Titans with 2 yrs left on his contract. Doesn't sound like that great of a player to me. JMO
