Lofton: Back-door slam of the Falcons
 

Just heard the WWL interview of Lofton (...I hope someone adds the audio to this thread). Things I picked up that made my jaw drop:

* It wasn't about money (in leaving the Falcons)

* I wanted to play for a QUALITY organization

* I wanted to win a championship

What do the above statements say about the Falcons?

Just a hunch, but it probably says he wanted out because they weren't a quality organization that had little chance of winning a championship.
But I'm no expert at reading 'tween the lines.:p

I just know that he signed with us for less than what the Falcons offered, but if you ask the enemy fans their answer is "well Nolan didn't want him" :rolleyes:

He also said something a while back about Ryan being a sissy LMFAO! I know one game where he is going to bring the absolute WOOD like we have never seen before. Ryan is probably ****ting his pants already worrying about it.

Oh we talk about y'all because of the hated rivalry. That's a fact. But y'all aren't in our heads, I can promise you that. Find a thread where we talked about how dominant we were by week two of the preseason, and I will eat my words.

There are still threads that are about us. You put us down in every thread you guys post about us. If you guys feel that we have no chance at winning against you, why do guys feel that you need to bash us in just about every thread you post about us? We are the most talked about team on this forum besides the Saints or any Saints forum as a matter of fact. Why is that?

Because it's fun; that's what being rivals is all about... Has nothing to do with fear or worry...

Plus you Falcon fans are the only ones who bother to show up here and banter back and forth.

Panther or Buc fans never show up...

You should appreciate all those threads here about the failcons. Truth be told you should come by more often, because anything you read here will be more accurate and relevant than anything you read on those crappy failcon boards. :blueshock:

Nothing wrong with pride in a successful category, but when you try to rub other's noses in it you better make sure it led to more success than just getting absolutely pummeled in the post season.

Whenever we play ATL, lofton always stood out to me because his name was constantly being called when he made plays

All this "he's no good in coverage" BS is absurd, he looks like a fantastic player and he's just glad to be on a better team, thats all
