Two Byes

October 14th is the bye scheduled by the NFL after playing the Chargers Sunday night. The bye falls on the 6th regularly scheduled week.
After that we have the equivolent of an additional bye later in the season.
We play Atlanta away Nov 29th. Our next game is an away Monday night game against the Giants. That's a ten day break. That's a week and a half. Plenty of time to rest and study.
Basically it's a bye late in the season. We're off from Nov 29th until Dec 9th.
Looking closer at the schedule I could see us going 13-3 or 12-4 with home field advantage.

Interesting. Things like that can be really really valuable during a long season.

Thats a bit of a break considering thats one of our back-to-back road games.

Looking into your numbers, Rugby, which are very sound, what you're saying is that there will be THREE WEEKS in my life this year, minimum, that will be absolute hell for my wife and everyone I come into contact with.

I am a SORE loser. It takes me a full and decisive win to get over a loss.

I say we go 16-0!

That gets my wife off the hook totally, and she'll appreciate that.
