Falcon's vs. Bengals 7pm

Can Matt Ryan lead the team to a pass first offense
 

With Falcons new scheme taking the focus off of turner and piecing together a decent WR corps and a scheme that runs a 3 wr set does Ryan have the arm, accuracy, and smarts to pull this off? Is it another example of them trying to copy what we do without the personnel to accomplish it?

They're copying us (Saints) and honestly they have a serious flaw so far as I've seen it - their o-line is now stinking it up 2 games in a row.

They have a serious problem at right guard....

That's a good question. They seem to think so. Skid britches has one of the worst down field accuracy percentages in the NFL. On passes over twenty yards his completion rate plummets. He constantly over throws his targets. He lofts the ball at much to high of an angle, it gives safeties time to get under it. Julio is a beast and will win that match up most of the time though. It'll be interesting to see if they can do it.

I do believe it was a mistake for them to try this though. I think the slow plodding, three yards and a cloud of dust thing was working for them. They were tough in 2010. They didn't make many mistakes and it was hard to stop them. They burned a lot of time off the clock on their drives. It was a great strategy against fast break teams like the Saints. I don't understand why you don't give the coordinators that have led you to 4 straight winning seasons and 3 play off births in 4 years more time.
