Beyond Chris Chamberlain's season-ending injury, New Orleans Saints MLB Curtis Lofton and WLB David Hawthorne both suffered injuries in the Saints preseason loss to the Jaguars on Friday night.

Interim coach Joe Vitt said Monday that starting MLB Curtis Lofton suffered a high ankle sprain against the Jaguars, and starting WLB David Hawthorne suffered a meniscus injury that will require surgery.

Vitt also announced that Ramon Humber, brought in as a backup linebacker and slated as Lofton's replacement was suspended for failing a drug test.

On the prognosis of both Lofton and Hawthorn, Vitt said today:
