I missed the majority of it. What was the good the bad and the ugly? How did Toon look? Anything happen of note?

Yeah I'm at work all can check out are the stats I see Cadet put up a lot of numbers. So did he do better than Ivory or get more opportunitys.

Morgan and Cadet are locks, but both got hurt late.

Toon unimpressive. Camarillo looked better than Toon

I didn't see the whole game but Toon's numbers are terrible. 2 catches on 6 targets for 6 yards.

Cadet looked good, at least till he got hurt.

Cadet hustles. He's got a lotta heart. I like the kid. He looked good tonight.

Canfield looked worse than I expected.

Toon looked bad but I think he still makes the team purely because of bloodline.

I'm disappointed Toon didnt do well. I have high hopes for him, but you got to think this was his first NFL game.

canfield lit it up again, in pics and fumble, don't believe he is nfl caliber, looked good at times , sluggish most of the time. he may have took his last snap as a saint, barring no qb injuries this season. we have to look for someone else to stick 3 years into. he has tunnel vision. the picks looked not even close to our recievers. jmo, he's not for me.

I did not get a chance to watch the game yet, and probably will not, but from what I've read, and seen so far this pre-season, it may be time to find a new number 3 prospect QB for the practice squad. I am not impressed with Canfield at all.

As for Toon, this is a sticky situation. Dude has some real potential, but has been hurt. Tonight was his first game, and it is being said he didn't impress. I am kind of wondering at this point, what do the Saints do with him? I doubt the Saints could sneak him on the practice squad, and I am not really sure he has earned a roster spot. If I was the Saints, I may go on record (blink-blink) and say his injuries haven't healed and put him on IR.

I won't judge Toon too harshly because it was his first action and he had Canfield throwing to him. But, he looked like a rookie WR for sure. Cadet could literally be a star somewhere else. The guy has ALL the skills. Hartley is the kicker and he's looked good. The Saints need to find another practice squad/developmental QB. Canfield just doesn't have the skills to even be a quality backup in the NFL.

Cadet will be on the roster. Once they started punting it out of bounds to him that said it all. As the commentator said, he played fearless. Loomis also hinted in the box that there is room for both he and Ivory and threw out the words practice squad. He also pointed in the direction that Toon hasn't done much of anything to help himself. I have a feeling he's gone.

He threw out "practice squad" framed in "there is no way we can hide either on the practice squad now".

Canfield couldn't hang on to his balls with 5 pair of conson's on. He = three turnovers in one game... His interceptions were atrocious.. Almost like he was too tired to play and just throwing it directly into the D-backs hands to get it over with. I do not ever care to see him on the field in a regular season game with his reckless abandon with the ball.

Cadet - Looked normal and dropped a fumble.

Toon - Canfield was trying to force the passes in to Toon.. The end zone should have been caught but i have seen better drop easier to catch.

Dfence looked good... Saw some good tackling, ball hawking...

I still say Toon is not a lock. The WR corp has proven talent in front of him. We also cut Pittman for PT when many were saying it was unlikley he'd be cut.

The biggest "good" is that pre-season is now over.

Toon just might make it to the practice squad now that he has shown he's not quite ready for the NFL.
