TightEnd is DEFINTELY the position you guys need to focus on right now.

David Thomas is a good blocker, so if he is truly over the concussion problems then I don't think they need another blocking TE.

If we sign any veteran, released TE, it'll be Chris Cooley after Week 1...

Now that would be great. He was playing to near an elite level two or three years ago. I would love to have a look see. How are his blocking skills? I know the dude can catch.

A few notes on Winslow: Dude can play, there is no real question about that. For the most part he has put up very decent numbers for a TE over several years. He is still only 29, so in theory should have a few more good seasons left. Now, this is what concerns me, gets traded from a team that already was very thin on offense for a low round pick, then gets released from that team before the season begins.

Honestly, I would have to say pass on him.
