The O-Line keeps the offense from looking good as does the secondary for the defense... Your 2 weaknesses are major!

Remember 15 out of 16 ESPN "experts" picked ATL in 2009. I still have the print-out. They're just guessing. The one thing we all know that they don't, is the character and the fight our players have.

Saints gonna bring it from Unda Tha Thunda!!!! Supa Bowl!!!

I know Yahoo is licking their balls pretty good.

Just about cant listen to a yahoo news article anymore.

Most people believe their offense is going to tear it up, but if you look at history in the preseason for the Falcons, when it matters in that 3rd preseason game, they struggle to score, it was no different this time and it was against Miami which is probably a 4th place team in their division.

I just dont believe anything is going to change this season on that offense, and that Defense which many believe their old D-Coordinator made them bad, I believe Nolan is going to make them slightly worse than that.

When you look at the overall picture, the Falcons will take a step back instead of a step forward like many people are thinking.

Hate to say it but I think a healthy JJ will improve their overall offensive production over last season. On the other hand I think they are jumping the gun a little bit trying to immediately switch to a pass first offense. That switch takes time and it will put a lot on Ryans shoulders. We will see how he handles it.

I like it when the experts pick against the Saints. I love it when Mike Greenberg picks against the Saints. To be fair, if you're not a Saints fan like we are, it could be easy to pick against a team that will have an interim/interim head coach for it first six games and an interim head coach for the rest of the season. Especially since neither has been a head coach before and recognizing how Payton was such a huge figure for the Saints. Then, how was the Saints offseason in regeards to the players on the field? They lost their Pro Bowl guard, #2 WR, starting CB, starting MLB, and their best DE will miss the first four games. On paper, to the outsider, the Saints lost quite a bit this offseason.

Not to mention a much tougher schedule this season.

And before that..how many years did we have to hear the Panties were the favorite to go to the SB. How well did that work out? I have a feeling the same is going to happen to ATL.

bahaha, I was just thinking that the same was said last year. Every year the Saints are getting older and will not be nearly as good, every year. And every year the Falcons have finally turned the corner.

Plus if Mike Smith jumps or runs on the sideline he hurts himself. Also, he gets red like he is about to have an aneurism. Not sure that is a weakness, but it sure is fun to watch
