PFT Today’s ruling means nothing to Payton, Vitt, Loomis, Williams

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Players punishment was vacated because Goodell was out side of his jurisdiction according to the CBA... REMEMBER TWO THINGS : Coaches are not part of the CBA. Sean Payton already admitted to it and apologized....

If all coaches are held accountable for their underlings behavior then why the Hell can't the owner be held responsible?(in no way am I implying anything about Benson) My point is where the Hell do you draw the line???
Bring back the coaches. Give them a heavy fine and be done with it. Acts of mercy are generally looked favorably upon. And Der Kommisar could use some good PR about right now.

Did he? I recall Williams admitting to a pay-for-performance system, which we all know is different, but I do not recall Payton admitting to anything.

Exactly! Sean didn't admit to a bounty program. He admitted that there was a pay for performance system in place. As far as I'm concerned if the players are practically exonerated of having a "bounty program" then it's freaking absurd that Payton should still suffer. God the NFL is such a joke nowadays... Thanks Herr Goddell.
