. We usually drop a goose egg every year, see Rams last year. Hopefully this was it. Also how we perform next week will be a real test of the cohesiveness of this team. If we can bounce back and not let this one get us down, it will speak volumes about the character of the team Payton has built. A loss like this under the circumstances we have faced this offseason could destroy other teams. We are about to see what this team is made of.

The prob is that it's the first game of the season so there isn't any precedent or evidence yet that the team is better. That's what's frustrating about this loss.

Still we also had some bad luck. So I think that's good. If we don't have the Harper PI call or the 12 man or Colston doesn't fumble into the EZ it could be a totally different outcome.

what had me worried going into this game is the fact we have always started slow in Week 1.

We surrendered 40 pts in GB last season didnt we in Week 1?

Each of those games nothing ever went right.

Yeah, my brother pointed out to me that we lost the first game last year and went 13-3. We'll be fine, as long as we don't repeat this kind of performance.

We really need to come out and explode offensively, horrible game for both sides of the ball

If the defense continues like this, we won't be going anywhere

Not worried at all. We always play horrible against the skins. Remember, it took a miracle last time to beat them.

This is very true, they always play us tough. Shanahan is like 7-1 in season openers also. They were the better team yesterday. We will be the better team in the end.

We missed Sean. Godhell had a plan to shut us down and cripple the organization......it looks like it's working.
Godhell isn't done yet. He thinks he's God...........someone needs to crucify him, so he can at least feel what it's like to pay the price for fame.(I am not disrespecting Jesus)
