A Saints Salute to London Fletcher

He was signed as a Rookie Free Agent by the St. Louis Rams in 1998...

He has led his respective teams (Rams, Bills, Skins) in tackles nearly every season he has played...

He's a prerennial Pro Bowl Alternate - mostly because he's played on bad teams or lower profiled markets...

His career stats as of the end of last season were: Tackles - 1,782; Sacks - 34.0; INTs -18; FFs - 18; TDs - 2

Now if we can scout offensive linemen and wide receivers, why can't we do this at linebacker and safety???

Oh and that "old man" today was a big part of the reason we got our butts walloped today...

Fletch absolutely deserves more than what he gets in terms of recognition. Great thread.... He had 166 tackles last year.... Can not ask for more from your MLB/heart of your D.

I salute him. He spent most of his time on the bench, which is where he is the most productive.

Yep Fletcher knew he had to have a monster game and he did exactly that. Props to the dude, he played his butt off. Here's to hoping that the 'Skins do well this year so it makes this loss feel a little better down the road lol

Re: A Saints Salute to London Fletcher

London Fletcher is & always has been the most underrated middle linebacker in all of football. Only Ray Lewis has more tackles since '99 and there isn't that much difference. We're talking about a Hall of Fame linebacker here, folks. Not like we didn't know this was a possible scenario. Fact is......they came to play & we didn't.....period.
