Rookie Linebacker cut by Indy!

Gilbert Gardner was cut by Indy, he is 6'1" 229 lb linebacker out of Purdue and was drafted in the 3rd round by the Colts.

Would it be worth the effort to pick him up just to see if he has the skills?

My only question is why would you cut a 3rd round draft choice before the start of camp?

Does anyone have any news on this guy?

Sorry, they signed him not cut him. That will teach me to post something I hear from a friend. He\'s still my bud but I can\'t trust his info obviously.
