The only thing that really puzzles me about Arrington, is why was he resigned and then almost immediately put on IR? Why didn't the Saints just leave him on the free agent list and grab him later in the season if needed or when he got healthy? It is not like the Saints didn't know he was injured, of course maybe that was it, perhaps they feared a grievance or something, who knows... To me, at least on the surface, it looks like a stupid move. I would say that it was messed up because Mickey Loomis didn't handle it, but come on, we all know Mickey is still running the team. I mean seriously, dude is working for the Hornets during his suspension, wink-wink, ya know...

Maybe because they were afraid if they left him out there in FA another team would scoop him up when he got healthy. Stashing him on IR was a way for them to keep him around without having him count against the final 53. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that the FO as it is was too scared to leave him out there cut in FA without Loomis and Payton having a say in it.

Then again he may be a member of that insane clown posse.

Roby - On the roster due to his average special teams skills.
Camarillo - Off the street.
Morgan - Flashes playmaking and hands of stone.
and Tanner - Injured. Never played in the NFL regular season. on the practice squad

What exactly is the problem at WR?

Alot of uncertainties there. I love them. I'm certainly hoping for the best. It looks like they may have to outscore everybody.

We set NFL records with basically that same group. Losing Meachem hurt, but not enough to panic... yet.

This way they can rehab his knee and when they think he's healthy they can cut him with an injury settlement then re-sign him for the remainder of the year once he clears waivers. Having him on the IR keeps other teams from knowing his health status.

Roby? Average special teams skills? What game are you watching?

Along with 'Tez, Roby was kinda the lone bright spot on ST this weekend, plus the dude is ALWAYS first to the play on punts

Okay fine, he fumbled last season in a pretty important game, but that's no reason to hang him out to dry. The guy keeps making the team for a reason, and being an 'average' special teamer ain't it. Its not like he makes clutch catches on offense or TD saving tackles on defense. He makes the team BECAUSE he is a very good ST player.

Sorry to get heated, I just dislike 'hate' getting thrown that guy's way, especially with how his production looked in pre-season in the receiving game.
