That is what I just said a few post before. This is a major problem. There is no doubt about it

Why is he not being used? He only has 11 catches because he has only been thrown the ball 11 times... He is 100% and I have yet to see him drop a ball.
Completely agree.

Our coaching staff is just spread to thin. Period. The O line is not getting the attention it needs from Kromer because he is acting as head coach.

Re: Wide receivers

Again, it all comes back to the loss of Payton and Vitt. If the receivers have the dropsies, someone needs to get in the receivers' coach's face and ream them out, tear them a new one, then get in there with the white board and the X's and O's or the extra drills in practice and help them solve it.

Now I will say this -- Vitt is known to be a STICKLER for details. Like Drew, he knows that football is won on the details of execution and the little things. If we can hang in there until he gets back, he will have a lot more chance of getting stuff like this sorted out. But I hope they fix it before then.

He's counting the pre-season games

Re: Wide receivers

If SP was here Ocho could be managed but it's like having Owens on your sideline nothing but drama. I like Vitt and looking forward to his return but you have to remember its still not SP.

ESPIN doesn't provide preseason... They do a better split than NFL.com but NFL.com gives preseason.

Courtney Roby: Game Logs at NFL.com

Look at his Recieving stats in 05-06 with the Titans
Courtney Roby: Career Stats at NFL.com

05 21 catches for 289 yards 13.8 YPC

Everyone liked Meachems speed?
Meachem 40yd 4.40
Roby 40yd 4.41
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS, Robert Meachem Devery Henderson Marques Colston 40 YARD DASH TIMES

USATODAY.com

Analysis: Positives...Having added close to ten pounds of bulk to his frame during the 2004 offseason, he showed better toughness going for the ball in traffic...Has the ability to sink his hips and come out of his breaks with a sharp burst...Displays a good feel for getting open, constantly keeping his feet moving...Knows when to settle down in the zone's soft areas and has the ability to instantly turn on the afterburners to accelerate upfield after the catch...When left isolated one-on-one in the open, he will consistently out-race the defender...Tough competitor going for the ball in a crowd, willingly sacrificing his body to make the play...Shows crisp pattern running and the ability to break down plays, doing a good job of adjusting in his routes...Has made improvement in shortening his stride, which allows him to get out of his breaks much faster than he did in the past...Has a knack for getting between the defender and the ball, displaying the ability to adjust to the ball in flight...Has the body control to change direction instantly and the leaping skills to consistently get to the ball at its high point...Has the sudden burst and good hand usage to avoid the jam...Will go up for the ball and pluck and snatch it at its high point...More of a one-cut type of runner, but can explode after the catch...Knows how to stem and come out of his breaks with good speed.

Negatives...Even with the additional weight, he still looks skinny in his lower legs and has only adequate strength...Needs to stay lower in his pads, as he gets too high at times coming out of his breaks...Long-legged runner who has to build to top speed in the open field...Lacks strength and aggression as a blocker, being more of a pester type...Struggled to digest the playbook and needs several reps to understand plays (low test score)...Can beat press coverage, but struggles when defensive backs gets their hands on him... Because of his slight frame and lack of strength, he can be knocked off his route working up field...Not a natural hands catcher, as he prefers to cradle the ball.

Ocho was on the market plenty of times when SP was here and passed on him every time... For a reason.

What kind of drama have you heard about Ocho? Name one thing he has pulled in the locker room or sidelines.
