No, but with Colston and Devery being questionable it does leave us a bit thin.

I guess Roby, Morgan & Moore are no Colston or Henderson. Morgan needs to step up his game, it's not like he hasn't skills.

Could be nothing more than a way to get Cadet on the field to see what he can do or just as a threat.

Reverse game would be interesting with Devry & Cadet both on the field.

Re: Hey Cadet might give us some help this week

I love the fact that the Saints are at least working Cadet at WR. At this point, Cadet isn't exactly the player who will be a starting RB or WR, heck, he is even second team on kick returns. But, a guy like Cadet who is capable of filling in at multiple positions, and can do well at all, seem to find a way to contribute to the team and these guys seem to always last for at least 10 years in the league. Since we all know he will pick up the WR positions fairly easily, how about giving him some reps as the number 3 QB in the very near future?

Granted the guy's got some good moves, but a 4.6 WR? Really?

You know, I have no real clue on this guys 40 time. I've read anywhere from 4.4 on a good day, to 4.7 on a bad day. Who knows...

What do you think Colston runs the 40 in, i'll bet it's about the same

Thats why he'd play the slot and not outside. He ran a low of 4.56.

Lance Moore ran 4.55 and Marques Colston ran 4.52

So basically he's about the same speed as Colston and Moore.

Saints RB Travaris Cadet a man of many talents | Saints | The Advocate — Baton Rouge, LA

Quote from article:
Throw in decent size and 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash and it’s easy to see why the Saints, who aren’t exactly short on halfbacks, signed him after he was passed over in the draft this spring.

Saints looking to use Travaris Cadet as a receiver

According to Gary Estwick the SunHerald.com, New Orleans Saints undrafted rookie free agent Travaris Cadet spent last week learning the wide receiver position, to help himself get on the field, since as a running back he’s currently buried on the depth chart.

If the Saints can install some specific packages for Cadet, he’ll just be another weapon that opposing defenses will have to worry about.

At the end of the day, the Saints really need to worry about fixing their defense.
