THIS DEFENSE STINKS
 

I'm sorry. We have a quarter to go and we've already given up 216 rushing yards. If they had a decent QB we'd be down by 20. Rogers will DESTROY us next week.

This is the worst defense I've ever seen by any team at any level. Period.

I am completely disgusted by this.

Fire Spags Immediately. It clearly isn't working.

They have been bad since week 1. I'm not going to blame Spags 100% though. He has no one on that defense to work with. They all stink except for Curtis Lofton. He is the only one I see that is making tackles and at less attempting to make a play. If Spags wants to stay on my good side, I better not see half of these guys on the team next year.

Yes defensive is horrible...
3 and outs by our offensiver doesn't help. At least they're holding them to field goals

Yup your right but I don't blame spags at all. Let's see what he does in FA and the draft. I'd be willing to bet next season that Tez Wilson gallett and Hicks get a ton more playing time if not starting. I'm still sold on spags but a hometown superbowl is not looking good. But we are still contenders. Strief has got to go also. Strif is garbage and bushrod is declining big time too he was solid last season but strief and bushrod have to go!

Shame the O is not helping by getting off the field real quick.

Amazing the D has held KC to less than 31 points

We have no DL and no OL. No team can play with that disadvantage.

Over 270 yards rushing. It was a team effort no doubt, but seriously, I don't think I've ever seen a defense this bad.

The defense did enough to allow us to win; the offense or lack thereof is what worries me... They had what 88 yards in the second half? And then all the 3 and outs, defense was bound to get tired

this is extremely painful. this was the ONE game i thought we should win this year. now, i dont know when we'll win again. sure, we'll get a win a few wins in a few trap-games, but, face it, we suck. we suck bad.

Looking mighty grim right now. Trying to stay positive but that many yards...unacceptable, I don't care what type of obstacles a team is up against. When you are giving up that much yardage you might as well just stand there. Bowe was wide open almost every single play. Make adjustments, at least make them throw to another receiver.

They had 15 drives. We had 14 drives. We expect the Offense to score 30 a game but that's because we're spoiled. At some point the defense needs to step up and pull its weight.

Blame the offense all you want, and some of you surely will, but this is the worst defense I've seen in a VERY long time, and I've watched a lot of football.

I just wanna throw up at this point. The freakin zone D is not working for us. You canot drop 2 deep safteys and all of your linebackers 10 yards back on 3rd and freakin 6. This is going to be a long season and yes, Rogers is going to light our asses up next week.

I am not blaming the O only or giving the D a break for their part of this sh*t suckle, but dude, come on man, the whole frigan team stunk today. Everyone. I mean I think the only guy that is doing his job is morestead. The play calling blows. Look, we stink and it isn't going to get any better

BTW- one bright spot today, Hicks. Thought the kid played with some emotion.

I said it last week and today proves it again.

Put 11 UDFAs out there on D and it would not be any worse and would cost a hell of a lot less. Who knows, maybe we could afford some OTs with the money???

Yeah the D was terrible but any teams D would be if the chiefs were on the field for 11 minutes compared to our 3 minutes

And if a team that was 9-0 and dominant at home can't win a home game with its back against the wall vs a bad team, there's not much hope in any other game.

Until this D can stop SOMEONE and SOME POINT, it will be 500+ yards a week. PATHETIC

If you want Spag's head then why not J. Graham's????? Backed up in our end zone, dropped 1st down pass led to 2nd in long which lead to a three and out, which led to punt, poor field position, game over. There's plenty of discontent to go around. The chiefs were hungry, we looked like the proverbial deer in the head lights. Drew looked lost. Plenty to go around, really.

Agree with comments on the offense not being up to its (record-setting) norm, but the WORST that they have done so far is 24 points.

I know these aren't the days of the Dome Patrol, but are you freaking kidding me???

That should be enough points to win EVERY WEEK!!!

Lets all have dinner and sleep on today. Maybe some constructive ideas will ensue?

That really isn't true. I understand the concept, but it simply isn't true. Each game is different. How can you blame the D in one breath because our O put up 24 points when 2 of those TD's came from us gaining 26 total yards and that was set up by two turnovers our D got?

The d is terrible, don't get me wrong, but no wayyyyy the offense did enough for us to win. They had 70 or less yards in the entire second half (26 of which came on the drive from the KC 19 and the other from the KC 7, both td drives), a safety, and a turnover. The loss is simply an entire team effort. Not one persons fault, not one side of the ball. Blame to go around.

This was the same thing that lost us the San Fran game. These defensive players don't have the stamina to close games. I have a hypothesis that if you were to examine the points we have given up, the majority would be in the fourth quarter.

Nobody has the stamina when your offense only gets 88 yards or so in the 2nd half, with an enormous amount of 3 and outs

There is something to be said about making a team kick 6 field goals.

Given..... It's not much, but it should count for something.

Start Hicks, Bunkley, Galette and Wilson! Get rid of Smith, Ellis and some more ASAP. In the draft focus on Safety and Oline help

Safety? Are you serious? We need a LT, RT, RDE, DT, SLB, and WLB and maybe some receivers who can catch the damn ball before I even consider upgrading either one of our two safties.
